Every day our maid service will bring you clean towels and remove your trash.  But you are expected to do your own dishes and light housekeeping.

Check Out Time 10:00 a.m. day of departure

During the Summer season the minimum length of stay is two nights.  We also require for confirmation, two nights deposit for first and last nights of your stay.  Holiday weekends - minimum 3 nights stay.

Cabin occupancy refers to any one utilizing the cabin services, e.g.: toilets, showers.

Inquire about special seasonal rates available mid September to mid April except during the 12 days around rifle deer season.

Pets are welcome with permission.
There will be an additional $20.00/per stay charge.
You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet inside and out.
Extreme uncleanliness in cabins with or without pets will be charged an additional $50.00 minimum.
You are solely responsibly for any damages or liabilities incurred by bringing your pet on property of Water'sEdge Recreation, LLC dba Merritt Trading Post Resort and Water'sEdge Restaurant.

No fish or game cleaning permitted in cabins, beach, or on picnic tables as an area is provided in state campgrounds.  Additional charges will be incurred.

Fire rings available in state campgrounds.
No open fires on Merritt Trading Post Beaches and Property.

Merritt resort is a privately owned resort. One of it's best features is to get away from everything.  Our beautiful location in the Sandhills accomplishes this, but also, because of our location we can't just turn on the vacancy sign like most hotels.  In regards to your reservation;  We cannot be responsible for adverse weather or fishing success.  You are financially responsible for all cabin days reserved in your name.  We will do our best to accommodate you, and if possible, reschedule.  Cancellations must reach us 30 days prior to your arrival date.

Care to rough it in your camper or R.V. instead?  Merritt also provides camping and trailer hookups.

Public Showers are $3.00 per person for anyone who is not a guest of the resort.

Boat & Camper Storage Rates

Guests staying in a cabin may store a boat or camper at no additional charge while staying with us.
