miles south of Valentine on Hiway 97 and adjacent to the Valentine Waterfowl Refuge
Lakes.
Merritt is located in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills and is truly a pearl with
its pure water, beautiful sugar sand beaches and void of any development with the
exception of our resort. Merritt Trading Post and Resort is just a short drive from
many of the Midwest's major cities.
Merritt is adjacent to the Valentine Refuge Lakes that host northern pike, bass,
perch and bluegills offering additional fishing opportunities in these pristine,
